Quality seed production is one of the most critical components for ensuring quality seed supply at the doorstep of farmers. Provision of quality seed is an important step in enhancing the yield and production of pulses. Replacing old varieties from seed chain and farmers’ fields remains a major concern among research managers, extension workers and other stakeholders.
